Nelson Melo's main interests include Physical Oceanography and Remote Sensing. He's been on a Research Oceanographer at University of Miami (CIMAS) / Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML / NOAA) since 2001 to 2014 and ALTAMETRY / FIU 2014 - now.
Nelson Melo is in charge (Director) at ALTA Systems / Miami University / Florida International University to develop high-resolution Remote Sensing applications / Coastal Oceanography.
